Speech of the President of the International Economic Lobby Club in Metn area on the occasion of the Lebanese Army Day

The President of the International Economic Lobby Club at Matn area, Mrs. Ikram Zein El-Din, celebrated the army's birthday, saying:
Heaven is within your reach
Oh my army
You alone illuminate the homeland after all institutions have been extinguished
Alone, you gather after all the forces have been deformed into flimsy entities
With you, we evoke the sails of hope and dream of a real homeland.

They are trying to make us despair, so you open before us with your steadfastness the irons of hope
They are desperate to divide us, so you confront them with unity and dedication
They persist in discrimination and corruption, so they persist in spreading peace, truth and security.

We did not succeed in building a modern, advanced homeland whose main pillar is the citizen and the homeland, but the army institution remained untouched by their misfortunes, and the Lebanese flag remained fluttering over the cedar trees.
