In a landmark institutional moment that sets the stage for a new era of organized economic work, the International Economic Lobby held the meeting of its General Assembly, attended by a distinguished group of business leaders—men and women—along with lawyers, media professionals, experts, and prominent economic and social figures. The meeting aimed to **elect the Lobby’s administrative body for the 2026–2027 term* and to *adopt its new organizational system.

The session served as an opportunity to affirm the Lobby’s shift toward a more advanced phase in governance and management, grounded in clear authorities, shared responsibility, accountability, and the adoption of competence, programs, and achievements as the basis for assuming leadership positions.

The event was moderated by Dr. Rana Zeitouni, who welcomed the attendees and announced the start of the General Assembly meeting, presenting the session’s program in an atmosphere characterized by organization and institutional vision.

Following this, Dr. Rani Zeitouni announced the transition to the agenda item on the new bylaws and organizational structure, while the Lobby’s Secretary, Ms. Layal Bou Rjeily, presented the most prominent provisions and articles to the members of the General Assembly.

The official session opened with a speech delivered by *Dr. Ali El-Masri, founder and President of the International Economic Lobby. He emphasized that this entitlement is not merely the election of a new administrative body, but rather represents a renewal of commitment to building an independent economic institution that brings together expertise, experience, and investors—contributing to launching initiatives, building partnerships, and supporting *sustainable economic development*.

After the adoption of the new institutional system, *the Lobby’s Secretary-General, Attorney Dr. Jano Haddad, took charge of the electoral process in accordance with the established rules and mechanisms.

After the list of candidates was presented to the General Assembly members, the voting process took place in a democratic and institutional atmosphere. The General Assembly *unanimously voted* to elect the *Board of Trustees* for the 2026–2027 term—clearly reflecting a unified confidence and shared vision for the next phase.
