With profound sorrow and deep regret, the International Economic Lobby mourns the passing of His Highness, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani—the founder of a generation and one of the most prominent leaders and architects of Qatar’s modern renaissance. He contributed through his vision to strengthening the country’s economic and international standing.

On this most painful occasion, we extend our heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to the esteemed ruling family, and to the government and people of the brotherly State of Qatar.
