International Economic Lobby Awards Its Highest Honors to the Chargé d’Affaires of Malaysia in Lebanon and the First Runner-Up of Miss Lebanon
In a distinguished event hosted at the Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon, under the patronage and presence of H.E. Mr. Johan Arief Jaafar, Chargé d’Affaires of Malaysia in Lebanon, and attended by a select group of Lebanese and Arab business leaders, the International Economic Lobby (IEL) organized an economic and tourism gathering aimed at strengthening relations between Lebanon and Malaysia and promoting trade, investment, and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
The event was attended alongside Dr. Ali El Masri, President of the International Economic Lobby, by:
* Dr. Jano Haddad, Secretary General of the International Economic Lobby.
* Ms. Layal Abou Rejeily, Secretary of the Lobby.
* Dr. Rana Zeitouni, Head of the Commercial Department of the Lobby.
* A distinguished group of IEL members, businesswomen, and businessmen.
During the event, Dr. Ali El Masri, President of the International Economic Lobby and President of the Lebanese-Chinese Business Council, awarded H.E. Mr. Johan Arief Jaafar the Highest Medal of the International Economic Lobby and granted him Permanent Honorary Membership, in recognition of his outstanding efforts and significant role in strengthening relations between Malaysia and Lebanon, as well as his continuous commitment to enhancing economic, commercial, and cultural cooperation between the two friendly nations.
Dr. Ali El Masri emphasized that this honor reflects appreciation for Mr. Johan Arief Jaafar’s valuable contributions in building bridges between the Lebanese and Malaysian business communities and in promoting investment opportunities and mutual cooperation that positively impact bilateral relations.
The occasion also witnessed the awarding of Ms. Chloé Khalifé, First Runner-Up of Miss Lebanon, with the Permanent Honorary Membership and the Highest Medal of the International Economic Lobby, in recognition of her distinguished presence, her positive role in representing Lebanese youth, and her contributions to social and media activities that project a positive image of Lebanon both locally and internationally.
The International Economic Lobby affirmed that these honors are part of its mission to recognize individuals who make a positive impact in their communities and contribute to strengthening cooperation and understanding among nations and peoples.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to enhancing economic, tourism, and investment relations between Lebanon and Malaysia, and to launching joint initiatives and reciprocal economic delegations that will create new opportunities for business leaders and investors in both countries.
