Ceasefire Decision in Lebanon

The International Economic Lobby welcomes the ceasefire decision in Lebanon, sincerely hoping that it will endure and that security and peace will prevail. We extend our gratitude to the Lebanese State, as well as to the countries and leaders who contributed to achieving this outcome. We reaffirm our belief that Lebanon, with its strength and resolve, is fully capable of overcoming this ordeal. With the efforts of its sons and people, the national economy and investment will recover in due course. We further pledge to continue working to attract investment to Lebanon and to carry forward the economic path that this Lobby has championed over the years. May God have mercy on the martyrs of the homeland, grant healing to the wounded, and relieve the suffering of the Lebanese people. May God protect this nation from strife and sectarian discord.
